Zlatan Ibrahimovich gets postal stamp in Sweden

Everyone’s favourite big target man Zlatan Ibrahimovic is to get his own postage stamps in Sweden, it was announced today.
The PSG striker has been working with the Swedish post office to produce five designs, one of which might well be the one above.
Said stamps will be released on March 27, 2014.
Zlatan was typically effusive about the stamps: ”It’s a great honour to be on a postage stamp, and I’m very proud to be selected. I get a lot of bills and there are rarely great stamps. Maybe that will change now!”
The former Ajax, Inter Milan, Barcelona and AC Milan striker added: “I’ve got to be on a corner of the stamp and it will be fun to see the finished result.”

Lionel Messi stars in new movie

Samsung have recruited Lionel Messi as their captain.
For the past few weeks Samsung have been running a global marketing campaign which claims that aliens will take over planet earth if they win a game of football.
Continuing that campaign on Monday, the global technology company have released a brand new video featuring Lionel Messi in a scene befitting a multi-billion dollar action movie.
Messi, cloaked in a hoody, is forced to escape the attentions of group of black tinted cars and motorbikes, with the Argentinian star eventually getting a helping hand from Franz Beckenbauer.

Robin Van Persie scores as Arsenal fall again at Old Trafford

United took the lead in the 27th minute when the Dutch striker rose above the Arsenal defence to head in Wayne Rooney's corner from the left.
Arsenal barely tested keeper David De Gea, with Olivier Giroud going closest when his shot flew two yards wide.
The result moves United up to fifth, five points behind Arsenal. The classy arsenal squad could not contain a hungry Manchester side desperate to prove a point.

Podolski chilling with Miley Cyrus as Arsenal goes down at Old trafford

Arsenal might have lost today's premier league clash against manchester united,  but injured arsenal star Lukas Podolski seems to be having fun back in his native Germany. The sexy gunner posted a pics of himself with American pop star Miley Cyrus while back stage at a German Tv show called "wetten Dass". Podolski also posted anoda picture[above] of himself wearing a suit, am even wondering if Miley Cyrus knows who Podolski is going by the looks on her face. I just hope she didn't dance naked on a wrecking ball....lol

Did they actually kiss each other?

Is the picture below photoshopped, or perhaps they went for a peck on the cheeks but got it all wrong amidst the excitement of the 2-2 draw?

Van Persie has no regrets joining Manchester united

The Dutch striker spent eight years with the Gunners before heading to Old Trafford in the summer of 2012.
His first season with United saw him land the Premier League Golden Boot as he collected a first title winners medal.
The 2013/14 campaign has started a little slower than Van Persie and the Red Devils would have liked, with table-topping Arsenal having edged eight points into the distance.
United will get the opportunity to close that gap during a home date with the Londoners on Sunday, and Moyes insists Van Persie will not be casting any envious glances in the direction of the visitors.
He said in The People: "Robin must have had strong views about joining Manchester United and I'm sure he'd say he's made the right choice.
"He was a great player at Arsenal. What he did there was great and he's come to Manchester United and done exactly the same.
"Nobody wants to let their best players leave and Robin, undoubtedly, was one of Arsenal's best players.

Arsenal's on loan midfielder frimpong posted a vibe aimed at manchester united ahead of their trip to old Trafford this evening. Incase you don't get the joke, Arsenal are top of the premier league table while chelsea are in second place, on the other hand manchester united are placed eight just ahead of westbrom who are on 9th. It would appear that no love will be lost between the Arsenal fans and Robin van Persie at Old Trafford this afternoon.
Gooners are still angry at the way the Manchester United striker left the Emirates the summer before last and will no doubt barrack RVP throughout the Premier League encounter.

The Chelsea full-back picked up a lookalike of his ex-wife Cheryl Cole after she commented on a picture of he feet he’d posted on Instagram.
The woman, Roxanne Jeffers, is a model who works for adult channel xxXpanded, who told the Sunday Mirror about the one-week affair she enjoyed with Cole.
It looks over after Ashley told he he wouldn’t marry a second time, saying it changes women.
That and he didn’t want to be seen in public with Roxanne.
She told the Mirror:
”I can totally see why Cheryl fell for him.
When we were together he made me feel really special. He acted like a boyfriend in every way – wanting to cuddle up on the sofa and watch movies, wrapping his legs around me.‘

Player battered for missing decisive penalty

I just saw this online and i promised myself you have the right to see it also.
A crazy scandal has erupted in Peru this week following a cup match which was decided on penalties.
Unión Fuerza Minera were kicked out of the cup by Saetas de Oro in a 4-3 penalty shootout after the sides had drawn 1-1 after two legs.
The decisive penalty was taken by Martin Dall’Orso, and after missing his spot-kick they players suffered a brutal punishment after the match.
Dall’Orso’s dad told local radio:
We lost the match and several fans boarded the bus. My son was held at gunpoint and they smashed his head with the butt of the gun. My wife has bruises on her arms and legs.
The president, Serapio Sucasaire, Omar and Ramiro Sucasaire were the perpetrators of the attack. He commanded them to beat us.
Martin Dall’Orso was pictured with blood pouring from his face in the aftermath of the assault, while the footballer has since appeared on Peruvian TV to show off his multiple wounds for his horrible episode.

Suarez's double seals dramatic 4-0 win against Fulham

Liverpool produced another ruthless display at Anfield to overwhelm Fulham and leave manager Martin Jol facing more questions about his future.
Luis Suarez, once again, provided the spark for Liverpool as he scored his seventh and eighth goals of the season to lift the Anfield club into second place in the Premier League table, two points behind leaders Arsenal, who have a game in hand.
Fulham were never in this from the moment Brendan Rodgers's side took a first-half lead thanks to an own goal by Fernando Amorebieta. Martin Skrtel's thumping header doubled the lead and Suarez fired in the first of his two goals before half-time.The liverpool hitman added a second goal 10mins into the 2nd half to dash the hopes of Fulham's fans hoping for a miracle. all together it was an amazing game for a classy liverpool side looking to break into the top four this season after so many years of trying.

Cristiano Ronaldo is on fire.
Real Madrid’s superstar striker scored an incredible hat-trick in a 5-1 home win against Real Sociedad on Saturday, and it now seems that Sepp Blatter’s recent jokes at the Portuguese attacker’s expense has only fuelled the forward to succeed further.- The hat-trick was the 23rd for real madrid.
Ronaldo’s stats are off the charts. In 17 games for his club this campaign, Ronaldo has 24 goals and 6 assists. Ronaldo has now scored 25 career hat-tricks (23 for Madrid), while the Real hero has now has scored 60 goals in a calendar year for the 3rd year running.

Mourinho escapes with a draw

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho somehow kept his astounding Stamford Bridge record intact following a controversial 2-2 draw with West Brom.
Now 66 games unbeaten at home in the league, Mourinho has referee Andre Marriner to thank after awarding his side an incredibly soft 94th minute penalty.
Ramires appeared to dive to win the penalty but Mourinho actually felt that the referee got it right.
